TREATMENT
Individualized care. Better outcomes.
At URSA Spine & Sport, we believe that effective treatment begins with understanding the individual—not just the injury. Every patient has different goals, different lifestyles, and different reasons for seeking care, which is why every treatment plan is tailored to their specific needs.
We begin with a thorough assessment of your symptoms, movement, joint mobility, muscle function, and overall health to better understand what’s contributing to your condition. From there, we create a personalized treatment plan designed to help reduce pain, restore movement, and support long-term recovery.
Rather than relying on a single technique, we combine the treatments that are most appropriate for you at each stage of your recovery.
OUR AIM
Helping you move toward better.
Everything we do is guided by one simple goal: helping you move with less pain, greater confidence, and improved function—using personalized care that’s built around you.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN YOUR CARE
More than a single treatment. A complete approach to your recovery.
Your care is built around what your body needs—not a predetermined treatment plan. Depending on your condition, goals, and stage of recovery, your care may include a combination of the following:
ASSESSMENT
Every visit starts with understanding how you’re moving, what’s causing your symptoms, and what will help you recover most effectively.
JOINT MOBILIZATION & ADJUSTMENTS
When appropriate, joint mobilization and chiropractic adjustments may be used to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore normal movement.
SOFT TISSUE THERAPY
Hands-on techniques help reduce muscle tension, improve tissue quality, and support healthy movement.
MOBILITY & STRETCHING
Stretching, mobility work, and movement retraining help restore efficient movement patterns and improve confidence in everyday activities.
REHABILITATIVE EXERCISES
Targeted exercises improve strength, stability, mobility, and long-term function while reducing the likelihood of future injury.
PERFORMANCE & PREVENTION
Helping active individuals move better, reduce injury risk, and continue doing what they enjoy.
The right combination for you.
Every patient responds differently to care. Rather than relying on a single technique, we combine the treatments that best match your condition, goals, and progress to create a plan that’s truly individualized.
OUR PROCESS
A clear plan built around you.
Every patient starts in a different place. Our process is designed to understand your needs, identify the root cause of your concerns, and create a personalized plan that helps you move toward better.
1
CONSULT
We start by listening. We’ll discuss your concerns, health history, goals, and what you hope to achieve through care.
2
ASSESS
A comprehensive assessment helps us understand how your body is moving and identify the factors contributing to your symptoms.
3
TREAT
Your care may include hands-on treatment, rehabilitation exercises, movement coaching, and education—all tailored to your needs.
4
PROGRESS
As your body changes, your care evolves. We’ll monitor your progress, adjust your treatment plan, and help you build lasting confidence in the way you move.
ACTIVE RECOVERY
Our goal isn't to keep you coming back forever.
We believe the best results come from helping you understand your body and giving you the tools to recover with confidence. While hands-on treatment can play an important role in reducing pain and improving movement, lasting results often come from what happens between appointments.
That’s why patient education, rehabilitation, and home exercises are an important part of our approach. As your symptoms improve, we’ll continue to adapt your care, helping you build strength, restore movement, and become more independent.
Our goal isn’t to create dependence on treatment—it’s to help you move well, stay active, and know what to do if symptoms return.
Recovery continues after every appointment.
Your treatment doesn’t end when you leave the clinic. We’ll provide practical guidance and exercises to help you continue making progress at home and confidently return to the activities that matter most to you.
PATIENT-CENTRED CARE
Treatment should fit you—not the other way around.
Every patient has different comfort levels, preferences, and goals. That’s why we believe treatment should always be a conversation, not a prescription.
We’ll explain our findings, discuss your options, answer your questions, and recommend the treatments we believe will provide the greatest benefit. If there’s a technique you’re uncomfortable with, we’ll work with you to find an approach that aligns with your comfort level while still supporting your recovery.
Our role is to provide expert guidance. Your role is to make informed decisions about your care. Together, we’ll build a plan that helps you move toward better.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions we hear every day.
If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us. We’re always happy to help.
1) Do I need a referral to book an appointment?
No. You can book directly with us—no physician referral is required for chiropractic care. However, some insurance companies do require a referral for a visit to be reimbursed; so please check with your insurance company if it is required.
2) Will I receive treatment on my first visit?
Every appointment begins with a thorough assessment to determine the most appropriate course of care. If treatment is appropriate and it’s safe to proceed, it normally begins during your first visit.
3) What if I'm not comfortable with chiropractic adjustments?
That’s completely okay. Your care is always a collaborative process. We’ll discuss your options and develop a treatment plan that aligns with your comfort level and goals.
4) What can I expect at my first appointment?
We’ll discuss your symptoms, health history, and goals before performing a comprehensive assessment. We’ll explain our findings, answer your questions, and recommend a personalized treatment plan based on your individual needs.
5) Can you help even if I've been dealing with pain for a long time?
Many of our patients have been experiencing symptoms for months or even years before seeking care. While every situation is different, we’ll work with you to understand what’s contributing to your symptoms and develop a plan that’s appropriate for your condition and goals.
6) What if I feel that Chiropractic Care isn't the right fit for me?
Your health always comes first. If we believe your condition requires a different type of care or further investigation, we’ll explain why and help guide you toward the most appropriate next step.
Let's build a plan that works for you.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with ongoing pain, or looking to improve the way you move, we’re here to help you take the next step with confidence.
